Lars Bruun, born 1945, educated at the Art Academies Painting Department 1967-70 and 1970-71, Mural art and Fresco Department 1969-70, and the Department of Art theory 1971-74.

Since the late 1960's, Lars Bruun has exhibited his paintings in many different galleries, and in 1998 he got the idea to open his own gallery. The basic idea with the gallery was to create an art gallery where the paintings were painted in the back room and sold in the front rooms. This removes any intermediary between the customer and the artist - An advantage for both parties.

The style is abstract, and the inspiration mainly comes from the architectural world and the natural world - Old buildings and ruins or fascinating cloud formations and landscapes are good examples.
